Arc Raiders Survival Trial Tips from U4GM Experts

ARC Raiders Prove Your Mettle runs through September 30, 2026, with weekly ARC kills, Heavy Ammo, and Spaceport tasks for Scorta and gear cosmetics.

I burned an entire Trials reset chasing a flashy damage objective with the wrong ammo economy, then realized the easier container task could have been finished during two normal loot runs. That is the real Season 5 lesson: plan the contract before you gear up. Keep a few ARC Raiders BluePrints in mind when checking your stash, because Trials often pushes weapons and tools you would not normally bring.

Prove Your Mettle runs from July 7 through September 30, 2026, with weekly objectives rotating through combat, scavenging, and extraction-focused jobs. The cosmetics are the headline rewards-Scorta Outfit, Green Bruiser Backpack, Pressure Gauge Charm, Hydraulic Pump Attachment, and the Come at Me Emote-but the useful part is having a reason to run maps with a purpose instead of doing another aimless loot circuit.

Pick the Trial before picking your loadout

Open the Trials menu in Speranza before entering matchmaking. Some weeks ask for ARC kills using Raider Tools, heavy-ammo damage, Android searches, or containers opened in Spaceport. Those sound interchangeable on paper, but they play very differently. Heavy-ammo tasks can drain an expensive reserve fast, while Android and container objectives are usually completed with gear you already wanted to use.

1. Pair search objectives with low-risk scavenging runs.

2. Save heavy ammo for trials with meaningful reward progress.

3. Bring Raider Tools only when the target enemies are predictable.

Dam Battlegrounds is usually my practical choice for enemy-focused work because the open sightlines make tool kills less messy and help squads avoid getting boxed in. Buried City is better when you need flexible looting, Android searches, or several container checks in one raid. Spaceport is the obvious pick for its specific objective, but do not enter with a full "must extract rich" mentality; its traffic makes it easy to lose a good kit for one last box.

The resource trap most players hit

Trials are not automatically worth forcing. If a task asks for heavy-ammo weapon damage, calculate what you are spending versus the progress you can realistically earn before extraction. A mediocre weapon you control is better than a rare gun you are afraid to fire. I also avoid taking my best armor into a tool-kill run unless the weekly reward is close; those objectives often require awkward positioning and invite third-party fights.

Squads speed up progress, especially when everyone is chasing compatible objectives, but random teammates can quietly ruin efficiency. Tell the group what you need before dropping. One player farming Androids, another opening Spaceport containers, and a third hunting ARC targets can work, but only if nobody insists on turning every sighting into a long PvP fight. Extraction with partial progress beats losing everything while defending loot you did not need.

If you are behind on the weekly rotation, focus on the objective that overlaps with your normal farming route rather than trying to clear every challenge in one night. Cosmetics are nice, but your stash still matters more for late-season flexibility. Players short on crafting options sometimes look at cheap ARC Raiders BluePrints to round out a needed setup, but disciplined runs and smart ammo budgeting will carry more Trials progress than panic spending.
